“…loyal yokefellow…”

 

Philippians 4:3

 

 

Paul addresses a friend in Philippi as “loyal yokefellow.”  Understanding how oxen were yoked in that day, we can see it is a description of a co-worker of the highest order.  May we be co-workers like that as we work together in this portion of God’s harvest field.  Thank you for your continued prayerful support of the ministries of the Forest Lakes District.  Here’s a look at the upcoming week:

Updates/Specific Prayer Requests:

 

o     Fellowship EFC in LaValle is still recovering from the flooding.  Keep them in prayer (unity, knowing what to do next, etc), and expect a separate email from us soon with more information.

 

o     Grace Church in Viroqua has had to put off its start date for building until the first of August, due to the heavy rains and flooding.  Volunteers of all skill levels will be needed – see their website for details (www.grace-efca.org). 

 

o     Pastor Ed Riddick of Oakbrook Church in Oshkosh is recuperating well from hip replacement surgery – please continue to keep Ed in prayer.
